Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the two reverse modes?
Characters mode reverses the exact character order (“hello world” → “dlrow olleh”). Words mode reverses the order of whole words while keeping each word readable (“hello world” → “world hello”).
Are emoji and Chinese characters reversed safely?
Yes. Reversal walks Unicode code points, so multi-byte characters like emoji, Chinese and accented letters stay intact instead of splitting into broken halves. Multi-code-point emoji sequences (skin tones, flags) can still be reordered as whole units may consist of several code points.
Does reversing twice give me back the original?
In characters mode, always — reversal is perfectly reversible. In words mode the original spacing is normalized to single spaces, so double spacing or line breaks are collapsed.
