Privacy Policy

Short version: you can use every game and tool without an account. We only store what you deliberately submit to community features, plus minimal technical data needed to keep the site fair and working. Last updated: September 28, 2026.

What we collect

• Leaderboard scores and comments (only if you submit them). When you post a score or a comment, we store the nickname you typed (or a default anonymous name if you leave it empty), the content itself, and a timestamp. This information is publicly visible.
• A salted one-way hash of your IP address. With each submission we store a hashed fingerprint of your IP address, used exclusively for rate limiting and abuse prevention. It cannot be reversed to identify you and is never displayed.
• Local data in your browser. Your best scores and remembered nickname are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. They stay there unless you choose to submit a score to a leaderboard.
• Human verification. Submission forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which may process limited technical data to verify you are human.

What we do not collect

• No accounts, passwords or third-party logins — Mindzook has none.
• No email addresses, phone numbers or real names (unless you email us yourself).
• No precise location data.
• No advertising or tracking cookies, and no cross-site trackers.

Where your data lives

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and submissions are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. See Cloudflare's own privacy documentation for details on their infrastructure.

Deleting your content

Scores and comments you submit are voluntary public contributions. If you want a submission removed, email us with the page and the nickname you used and we will remove it. See the Contact page for the address.

Children

Mindzook is a general-audience site and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. There is nothing to sign up for — please do not submit personal details in nicknames or comments.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
