Level 1

Pour matching colors together — every tube full of one color, or empty.

How to play

  1. Tap a tube to pick it up.
  2. Tap another tube to pour — only onto the same top color or an empty tube.
  3. Whole matching groups move at once; watch your move budget.
  4. Every tube full of one color (or empty) clears the level. Restart reshuffles free.

Frequently asked questions

How does Water Sort work?

Tubes hold four layers of liquid. Tap a tube to pick it up, tap another to pour — but only onto an empty tube or a matching top color, and only the whole matching group moves. Make every tube full of a single color (or empty) before your moves run out.

What is a good level to reach?

Two to four levels is a solid start — by level 4 you are sorting six colors with a tight move budget. Seven or more means you plan several pours ahead.

What does this puzzle train?

Sequential planning and state tracking — you must see a whole order of pours before committing, and undo your assumptions when a tube gets blocked. It is the same executive function behind packing a car or planning a commute.

Any strategy for tight budgets?

Keep at least one tube empty as long as you can — it is your scratch space. Consolidate colors onto their strongest stack early, and never pour onto a color unless you know where its rest will come from.

Can I restart a level?

Yes — Restart reshuffles the current level with a fresh move budget at no cost to your score. Only completed levels count.
